Didi Releases Music Video for “Tell Me Why” Feat Geo Da Silva

effective immediately prdidi

Didi is letting our listeners check out her music video for the single “Tell Me Why” featuring Geo Da Silva.  The single is pure pop dance music, which as all of you know I really enjoy.  For me this makes me want to just get up and move the body.  The rhythm is right were it needs to be and not to over bearing and Didi’s voice blends in with it nicely, since her voice isn’t being over powered.  When Geo Da Silva comes in for his feature performance it rolls in smoothly and doesn’t disrupt the flow of the single, really good job with this.  Now the music video.  Not quite sure what the director was going for here.  With the rhythm of “Tell Me Why” I expected this to be a high energy video, but the director decided to have Didi and her entourage are kind of stiff and when Geo comes in you feel the energy spike and have a fun feel.  To me the video should have had this fun energy feel to it through out, but like I said director’s decision there and it might work for others.  This is a fun upbeat song so you need to have a listen to Didi’s “Tell Me Why”, featuring Geo Da Silva, with her music video through her YouTube channel – Richard:

Ben Talmi’s Lyric Video for “Play”

ben-talmi

Ben Talmi, recently signed with Communion Records, is sharing his lyric video, for his single “Play”, with our listeners.  This single starts out sounding like a type of lullaby feel to it and then the chorus takes you into a more pop beat, but still at a slower rhythm.  When you watch the lyric video, individuals with seizures might be aware that the way the video is spliced together it has kind of a strobe effect.  Also with the video, and I wonder if this was intentional because the way the song feels, when you get to the chorus many will see the influence of Sesame Street with the pronunciation shadows.  Here’s Ben Talmi’s “Play” lyric video through his YouTube channel – Richard:

REN Heads “Into the Unknown” with Latest Music Video

REN delivers a nice smooth pop single with “Into the Unknown”.  The single isn’t over bearing and has a catchy rhythm to it that just flows over the listener.  The music video is fun to watch as well with all the color that pops out at the viewer.  Very nice all the way around.  So be sure to check out REN’s music video for “Into the Unknown” through her YouTube channel – Richard:

Gold Complex Delivers Music Video for “Backbone”

Project Light Agency Logogold-complex

Gold Complex gives our listeners a chance to sample their sound with their music video “Backbone”, from their self-titled EP.  With “Backbone” the group is playing a fun light rhythm that is supplied by the trumpet and sax giving the single an R&B/Soul feel.  It’s really nice to see live instruments actually supplying the sound rather than electronic versions.  You even get to see these players in the music video that Gold Complex did for “Backbone”.  The video is split between a road trip and studio video.  During the studio segments they spotlight the trumpet and sax player.  If you are digging them be sure to support the group by downloading their self-titled EP – Gold Complex – from your digital content provider.  Until then take a moment and enjoy Gold Complex’ music video for their single “Backbone” through their YouTube channel – Richard:

Michael Colton’s Music Video for “Won’t Fall Away”

If you are looking for a great sounding country single Michael Colton’s single “Won’t Fall Away” will satisfy that itch, from his upcoming California Blue EP.  Michael is sharing with our listeners his music video that was produced for “Won’t Fall Away”.  The song and music video take you back to a simpler time.  The single is basically an acoustical song that allows Michael’s voice to shine through and the music video, to me, is emulating going back in time to his past, with the two young teenagers or even pre-teens and the feel that it was done with an old style video camera and the teens are even using a Polaroid to take pictures.  The single and music video are very nicely done so check out “Won’t Fall Away” from Michael Colton’s YouTube channel – Richard:

Nerd Barrage “Princess Bride” Themed Opening

This one slipped through the cracks here at ComicPop.  I was supposed to post this a couple of months ago and then got busy and quickly forgot about it….my bad on that.  Anyhow this edition of Nerd Barrage feature an opening themed to Princess Bride and Jacob, one of our hosts, had a hand in writing the script for it.  So a shout out to him and Nerd Barrage.  Here is the episode that you can watch below from Nerd Barrage’s YouTube channel:

Patrick Krief’s Latest Single “All is Lost”

KoralYoungLogo1patrick

Patrick Krief is sharing with us again from his upcoming double album automanic.  He is giving our listeners a look at his latest music video for his single “All is Lost”.  Patrick takes us on a soulful journey with “All is Lost” with it’s rock ballad feel.  Patrick mixes his voice in with the instrumentals that reflects the song’s lyrics with “I was lost”.  Weather this was intentional or not it works, for me, as a great metaphor.  The music video takes a little getting used to with just a pair of eyes that seem to be gazing out of the screen, which probably will be a little disturbing for some.  Don’t let that sway you on the single though, it’s a great melancholy piece.  Here is Patrick Krief’s music video for “All Is Lost” through his YouTube channel – Richard:
