Yu-Gi-Oh! Friday is Upon Us with New Product!

Get ready all of our Yu-Gi-Oh! duelists and/or trading card collectors. This Friday, the 17, new product will be hitting the shelves! Are you ready for the newest booster packs and accessories?

First from Konami we get the Legendary Duelists Magical Hero booster packs. This set features Yugi’s Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl. For the first time ever the Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl will be able to fight together as a single Fusion Monster – Dark Magicians! One new card you will possibly pull from a booster pack is Magicians’ Souls, a new effect monster that guarantees you to summon either the Dark Magician or Dark Magician Girl when you need them.

The total cards in this Legendary Duelist Magical Hero booster set is 56 to include: 29 Commons; 10 Rares; 8 Super Rares; and 9 Ultra Rares.

But that’s not all that will be hitting stores this Friday. There is also the Ash Blossom Accessories! These are coming to you earlier than expected. The release date was originally February 14, but Konami wanted to give everyone a surprise, so they moved up the release date to this Friday! Accessories that will be available will be: a Gaming Mat; Card Sleeves; a Card Case; and a Duelist Portfolio. For images of the accessories and other products you can check them out here: https://www.yugioh-card.com/en/products/accessories.html

That’s a lot, but I know our Yu-Gi-Oh! listeners will be excited that all of this is hitting their store shelves this Friday. Many thanks to Hill & Knowlton Strategies for the heads up so we can pass it along to you.

Yu-Gi-Oh Advent Calendar 2019 24 Performapal Kuribohble

The last card is Performapal Kuribohble, a Kuriboh from Arc-V. This one can summon itself from your hand to take what would have been a direct attack, and instead of taking damage from that battle you heal that amount instead. This one shields from one attack and usually heals you, which can be useful if you have effects that cost life points like Kuriphoton, or effects that activate on life gain like the Aroma archetype. If you use your lifepoints for your effects then this is the Kuriboh for you.

No Time to Die

Bond is back!… and it looks like another good one. Check out No Time to Die’s trailer from the James Bond 007 YouTube channel:

“Love in The Dark” by Plastic Martyr

Plastic Martyr is sharing with us her single “Love in the Dark”. Her music video for the single has recently dropped and she wanted to share it with our listeners here are ComicPop Library.

The single covers a harsh reality for several people that their love is not always enjoyed and shown to all to see by their partner. This really hits the heart hard when everyone in this world is looking to be loved and wants the whole world to see that love shining through.

Plastic Martyr takes that serious theme and weaves a powerful ballad around it. I love her voice and how it isn’t drowned out by the instrumentals. The down beat that she has in this single gets the beat into your body and makes it move with the rhythm.

Really enjoy this single and can’t wait to hear what she comes out with next. Here’s Plastic Martyr’s “Love in the Dark” music video through her YouTube channel and be sure to download her single from your digital vendor of choice – Richard:

Yu-Gi-Oh Advent Calendar 2019 1 Kuriboh

This Advent Calendar starts with Kuriboh, not much to do with Christmas but one of the iconic monsters of Yu-Gi-Oh that has gotten many variants over the years. It’s also one of if not the first hand trap, stopping one battles damage from being inflicted. It can also be used with Multiply and Detonate to destroy up to four of your opponents cards. While there are better cards for its main effect now, it can be used as a defensive wall, or fairly good removal with its support.

Yu-Gi-Oh Advent Calendar 2019

We’ve gotten another Yu-Gi-Oh Advent Calendar for this year, this time bought by us. We’re planning on doing the same as we did last year again, though we did start a bit late. This time with a Kuriboh apparently known as Performapal Kuribohble as the front cover. Hopefully you will enjoy our review.
