Been One of Those Weeks

I want to apologize to everyone for having such a slow week.  We have had some fast turn arounds here.  We had the holiday weekend last weekend and when we got back the recording area had water damage that we had to take care of and then make sure everything was good to go.

Then we had a family member on my wife’s side pass away on the holiday weekend, so today we are leaving out for the funeral this weekend.

The next post will be a podcast and then with everything quieting down next Monday we should be back to normal.  Again I apologize for this lack of posts this week.  I’ll see you on the flip side – Richard

Force Friday II

So who’s going to Force Friday II?  I know I will be going in my area to see what’s what.  Hopefully I’ll find the figures I’m wanting tonight or I guess I should say tomorrow morning.  Yes it happens at Midnight (12:00 am) Friday Morning.  Most of you will probably be doing the overnight sleep thing, but I’ll be doing it just to have some fun.

Hannah Featherstone’s Music Video for “Solo”

Hannah Featherstone is giving us “Solo” for our listeners to check out.  In this single Hannah plays with a slower smoother tempo that you get through some Jazz pieces.  The staccato beat the single carries the listener through the slower jazzy parts of the single.  The blending sounds strange, but it works here.  The video features Hannah with a static filter to keep the watcher interested in the flow.  Here’s Hannah Featherstone’s music video for “Solo” through her YouTube channel – Richard:

FUNimation’s Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund

FUNimation is has posted a Hurricane Harvey Relief video on the 29, but it is still something that people can help out with.  If some of you didn’t know FUNimation is based out of Texas and they want to help out the community affected by Hurricane Harvey.  This is a way for you to help as well by joining them in their relief effort.  We send out our thoughts and prayers along with so many others for the communities that have been affected by Harvey as I know our listeners do as well.  This is just another way you can help out if you are moved to do so.  From FUNimations YouTube channel “Hurricane Harvey Relief”:

Ren with the Mane’s Single “Hypnotize”

Ren with the Mane is sharing with our listeners her single “Hypnotize”.  Within this single I love the drum beat and the bird calls that make you feel like you are in a jungle.  It’s just a great illusion that is placed in you mind as you listen to Ren.  “Hypnotize” is a slower song, but the drums and strong bass beat keep the single moving forward to its climatic end.  About two thirds of the way into the single the instrumentals swell into a grand sound with additional instruments coming into play.  With Ren’s smoky voice she captures the listener and takes you on a journey.  Here’s Ren with the Mane’s single “Hypnotize” through SoundCloud – Richard:

007 – James Bond has Another Mission Through IDW

IDW is venturing on another mission with Ian Fleming’s James Bond, 007 character.  This time it will be a one-shot graphic novel written and drawn by Ibrahim Moustafa.  The one-shot is entitled James Bond: Solstice and is slated for a November 22 release date.  So all you Bond fans out there get ready for the next adventure!

Eden Warsaw’s Music Video for “Somebody Tell Me”

Eden Warsaw shared with us his single “Somebody Tell Me” a while back.  Now he has the music video up for the single and he wanted to share it with our listeners as well.  The video is what I call a band video, where the majority of the video focus’ on the band.  So here’s Eden Warsaw’s music video for “Somebody Tell Me” through his YouTube channel – Richard:

Wind River Trailer

Wind River looks to be an intense but slow burn of a movie.  I could be wrong, but with what the trailer shows and how it is a murder mystery it’s not always about the action, it also deals with the psychological aspects of a case.  Looks interesting…here’s the trailer through MovieClips Trailers YouTube channel:
