Batman Ninja Trailer

Warner Bros. Animation keeps coming out with interesting titles.  Of course Batman is going to be the focus of most titles since he is the most bankable, but that doesn’t hurt my feelings since I’m a Batman fan.  Anyway here’s the trailer to Batman Ninja through DC’s YouTube Channel:

Ariel Hyatt’s Thoughts on Musicians and Websites

Ariel Hyatt has been working in the Public Relations extensively and she wants to share her experiences with musicians and help them reach their goals.  Here’s Ariel in her own words:

A lot of artists find the idea of building a musician’s website daunting. It’s difficult, it can be expensive, and is it really necessary with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Spotify, Bandsintown,YouTube and all the other profiles you need to manage? In a word, yes.

While a certain amount of business and fan growth takes place on social media, if you don’t have an effective website, you’re going to have a hard time being found and noticed by fans and industry (bloggers, managers, A&R reps, etc.) alike.

You absolutely need to have your own domain as it represents your official homebase on the web that is fully in your control. Effective social media trends come and go, (hello Facebook!) but your website is yours forever.
It is perfectly possible to create an effective website at an affordable price. There is a global marketplace of fabulous platforms and talented designers (like ours) who can help you build a beautiful site for a few hundred dollars.

A lot of artists drive themselves crazy building websites because they forget that simplicity is key.

Read my blog post all about it which includes the 7 simple website elements you need to include to make your site relevant and easy for fans and industry to navigate here

And we are very excited to annouce we are now designing websites for musician’s. Click here to find out more and schedule a call with me to discuss!

DYGL’s Music Video for “Come Together”

DYGL is sharing with our listeners their music video for their single “Come Together”.  This quartet is hitting us with a fun rock single.  The single has an infectious beat to it that will get your head a bobbing and body a movin’.  Really enjoyed this single from DYGL.  The music video itself is a performance video, but it has some atmosphere to it with the haze and coloration that is used.  If you are going to be at SXSW be sure to see them perform live.  They have two performances planned: on March 15, they will be at Maggie Mae’s at 10 PM and then a second performance on March 17, at Esther’s Follies beginning at 12 AM.  Here’s your taste of the groups sound with DYGL’s music video for “Come Together” through their YouTube channel – Richard:

Monster Hunter Stories Ride On Trailer

Monster Hunter Stories Ride On Part 1, is the next season of Monster Hunter Stories from FUNimation.  The animation done in this series is reminiscent of something you would see in Digimon and Pokemon.  It looks geared for younger anime fans, but before you let younger fans watch you might check it out first just to be safe.  It looks fun and with the mini-dragon concept I can see young fans eating this series up.  Here’s the trailer through FUNimation’s YouTube channel:

Alyson Joseph’s Latest Music Video for “night”

Alyson Joseph is sharing with our listeners her single “night’s” music video.  The video is Alyson in a room singing acoustical with her guitar live as the video designates in it’s title.  Alyson has an alto voice that lends well to thought provoking soul infused musicality.  “night” is one that will make you pay attention to the lyrics for a deeper experience.  Alyson has an as of yet titled EP scheduled for a March release date, but until then she invites you to listen to “night” for said forthcoming EP through her YouTube channel – Richard:

Upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! Flames of Destruction Special Edition Boxes

Beginning June 8, Konami will be sending out boxes for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Flames of Destruction Special Edition.  These boxes will contain 3 booster packs, 1 of 2 Super Rare variant cards, and 1 of 2 Super Rare preview cards for the upcoming Summer 2018 booster set.  Flames of Destruction will feature a new Elemental Lord that can be summoned only when you have exactly 5 light monsters in your Graveyard.  This lord will have command of the power of Raigeki, which is the power to destroy all enemy monsters at once.  So come June all TCGers will need to keep their eyes out for these Special Edition boxes.

OVTLIER’s Newest Music Video “Broken Bones”

It’s a Heavy Metal/Hard Rock morning today.  This outing OVTLIER is sharing with our listeners again by letting us view their music video for their newest single “Broken Bones”.  OVTLIER makes no bones about it that they are a hard rock band and they have a similar sound as bands like Linken Park…part screamo/part what I would call normal voiced vocals.  This style I really like because it gets you pumped up, but also allows the listener a calming section before ratcheting everything back up again.  The music video is basically a concert video, which fits because with this type of music you are banging your head to much enjoying the music.  Check out OVTLIER’s “Broken Bones” music video , from their What Doesn’t Kill You EP, through their YouTube channel – Richard:
