MisterWives New Single Streaming

The band MisterWives has a new single out entitled “Kings & Queens”. This is one of those songs that is hard to describe. On the first listen I wasn’t to hip on it, but after listening to it a few more times the beat gets stuck in your head. It kind of reminds me of some of the songs from the 1980’s. Check it, and if you are like me don’t give up on it. I think you will enjoy it. For more music news be sure to visit Wild Honey Pie’s website http://www.thewildhoneypie.com/.
Kids on a Slope Trailer
Sentai Filmworks is releasing Kids on a Slope today on Blu-Ray and DVD. However, if you ordered the Blu-Ray AnimeNews Network is reporting a recall on the Blu-Ray sets because on one of the disc only one voice was transfered (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-05-06/retailer/sentai-filmworks-recalls-kids-on-the-slope-bd-release). If you haven’t picked them up for your anime collection this would be one to consider. Thanks to “fujitv” on YouTube for the following trailer:
Ep. 12 of ComicPop Visits with Lolita Dark’s Lead Singer, Ray
Hello everyone and welcome to ComicPop Visits, Episode 12. Today we sit down and visit with Lolita Dark’s lead singer, Ray. Ray was kind enough to take a break in her busy schedule and visit with April, Richard and Matt. It was a blast talking with her and we enjoyed having her on the show.
Ray mentioned Lolita Dark’s new music video for the song “Zesshou”. It was before the actual release date so we held on to this visit until well after Zesshou’s music video’s official release date. Click here to view the video on YouTube, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=io7GYVycgE8. “Zesshou” is the featured song for this visit and then when Episode 36 of ComicPop Library is released we will have samples of three other songs from their debut album Tokyo Status.
You can listen to the visit below or on iTunes when it gets picked up on our Feed later today. Thank you to everyone for your continued support and keep spreading the word about us.

Iron Man 3 Trailer
Free Comic Book Day
Remember that this weekend, May 4, is Free Comic Book Day. So you can go see Iron Man 3 on Friday night and then Saturday morning go to your participating comic book stores, book stores, and libraries for free comic books! I hope everyone was able to get all of their stock in for the 4th. We have ours in thanks to Prairie Dog Comics, in Wichita, for ordering them for us and we have some extra book marks, provided by Prairie Dog Comics, and graphic novel give aways for those that attend. Our display case in the library has a display of die-cast cars that are comic book themed that people can view as well. Have fun everyone!
There is Danger Here
There is Danger has the latest release called “Passport”. This is one that will appeal to all the psychedelic fans out there. Not my particular style of music, but that’s what makes the world fun is the differences. I can listen to this song, just not over and over again. Check it out below and see what you think. It might be your cup of tea. Remember to check out Wild Honey Pie for more music news: http://www.thewildhoneypie.com/
