Surprise Geek Wedding for 10th Anniversary
Michelle sent me this story, which I thought was pretty cool. For their 10th anniversary a husband planned a surprise geek wedding, for his wife. I don’t know if I could get this by Michelle and she would probably roll her eyes when she got there. She isn’t into the SciFi/Comics/Gaming like I am, she lets me do my thing though and sends me cute emails like this one. She’s great! Anyway check out the cake and rings, kind of cool. The groom and groomsmen didn’t dress up in costume, they had on comic related T-shirts under their shirts. Thanks for the story Michelle, we’ll have to think of something for our upcoming 25th Anniversary. Click on the link below to get the full story and additional photographs.

Meet the New Vocaloid Nana
Meet Nana Macne a vocaloid that was created by Haruna Ikezawa in 2008, for “Macs”. This is how creations can take time to make it into official recognition because it is now in 2013, that Vocaloid has named Nana an official part of the Vocaloid family. Below are a couple of links to samples that you can listen to:
What Any Anime Fan Needs to Ring in the New Year
The retailer Rakuten in offering three separate bottles of champagne that anime fans would love to have. The three bottles are Evangelion Brut Champagne, from the champagne region of France, made by Cattier. Each bottle has a separate etched image of Rei, Kaworu, and Asuka, and they are embedded with a Swarovski crystal. One bottle has a suggestion price of 31,500 Yen ($305). So if you want one of each it is going to cost you a pretty penny, but it is kind of cool, just not within my budget.
Haunted Hauses gives us “Hunters” and “Bon Voyage” Singles

HAUNTED HAUSES RELEASE NEXT SINGLE
OFF OF HIGHLY ANTICIPATED EP RELEASE
EXCLUSIVELY VIA THE MUSIC NINJA
SEXY & VIBRANT “HUNTERS” FOLLOWS
FILTER PREMIERE OF FIRST SINGLE “BON VOYAGE”
Brooklyn based indie group Haunted Hauses are back with their next single “Hunters” available to listen, download exclusively via The Music Ninja.
Haunted Hauses began as a collective of friends and includes Leif Huckman (Ex Cops), Autry Fulbright (Trail of Dead) and Eric Rodgers (VHS or Beta). Seeking a musical outlet with a different sound from their current bands, they all wrote and recorded songs in between rehearsals and tours.
From the two songs “Hunters” and “Bon Voyage” the Haunted Hauses sound is an upbeat light sound. I would say they fall within the Electronic Pop genre with their music. The instruments don’t overpower the vocals, in “Hunters” they come close to that edge, but they don’t quite cross that line. From what I have heard Haunted Hauses is a group you will want to check out. So click on the two links above to listen to “Hunters” and “Bon Voyage”, I think you will like them.
