Liam Neeson rocks in this franchise. I enjoyed the first to Taken’s and will probably enjoy this one as well. Neeson has this type of character down pat, I can see him doing more similar characters in the future. Check out Tak3n trailer from “20th Century Fox UK” YouTube channel:
Disgaea fans here’s one for you. The newest Makai Denki Disgaea 5 game is coming out March 26, for the PlayStation 4. Until then Nippon Ichi Software is wetting your appetites by streaming the main theme to the game. The theme is entitled “Kill Real” by Mamoru Miyano. Check it out through their YouTube channel:
Harris Hawk gives everyone a nice hard rock single with “Farpoint”. This is one that hard rock fans will enjoy. There is a short bridge where the song softens a little, but it is primarily in your face with electric guitar the featured piece in the driving beat. More cards for you Trading Card Game collectors out there. This time it is a Booster set for the DragonBall Z TCG, called “Heroes and Villians”. The booster set will have: 142 new cards; 24 rare cards; 8 foil parallels; and an unnumbered amount of ultra rares. The release date is scheduled for March 4.
“Too Late”, from What Model Citizens, has a strong 1980’s synth feel. Kind of in the vain of Devo and other groups like that. The Music Video definitely leans toward the Steampunk genre and the song lends itself well to that genre as well. More to catch for Pokemon and CCG fans. Coming March 25, the Pokemon CCG game will get a Double Crisis expansion set. The set will include: 4 booster packs; collector’s pin; matching coin; and a code card for online play. The set when completed will be 28 cards, with 8 foil cards included in the set.

He’s releasing a new collection of songs in February called Back to Music.It’s twelve tracks reflecting an eclectic mix of world and roots influences with positive, life affirming messages – making for a warm, ambient rock record. Shultz wrote, arranged and played all of the instruments on the record. He also produced and recorded Back to Music.Back to Music reflects Shultz signature aesthetic on plexiglas too… bold, colorful, full of energy and modern. Companies like MGM’s The Bellagio in Las Vegas and Guitar Center commission his work. He built his reputation in and around Los Angeles by simply painting on anything that he could and then eventually launching his own gallery.

Variety is reporting that Johansson will portray Major Motoko Kusanagi. Dreamworks has had the Ghost in the Shell property and is now moving forward with the adapation of Masamune Shirow’s work. Ghost in the Shell has had the original manga that has been adapted into anime movies and TV series. Now Hollywood is trying for a live action movie. We’ll just have to wait and see if it comes to pass and hopefully be true to the source material.
