Warner Bros. Animation keeps coming out with interesting titles. Of course Batman is going to be the focus of most titles since he is the most bankable, but that doesn’t hurt my feelings since I’m a Batman fan. Anyway here’s the trailer to Batman Ninja through DC’s YouTube Channel:
Monster Hunter Stories Ride On Part 1, is the next season of Monster Hunter Stories from FUNimation. The animation done in this series is reminiscent of something you would see in Digimon and Pokemon. It looks geared for younger anime fans, but before you let younger fans watch you might check it out first just to be safe. It looks fun and with the mini-dragon concept I can see young fans eating this series up. Here’s the trailer through FUNimation’s YouTube channel:
So who else is pumped for Black Panther this weekend? I definitely am! I don’t watch all the trailers to leave a little mystery, but in this one I saw something that would be cool. I know it probably isn’t going to be the case, but with Disney looking at acquiring 20th Century Fox it would be neat if they had a crossover like Sony did with Spider-Man. At around 57 seconds into the trailer there is a character with white hair, it would be so cool if that would be Storm from the X-Men. Like I said I know it probably isn’t so. Since my team didn’t make it to the Super Bowl I was only half interested in the game. But the commercials hit and did they hit. To begin with what has my biggest entry for the Summer Blockbuster Season is Solo: A Star Wars Story. I’m a Star Wars fan and just like with the comic book movies, I’m enjoying the ride. Now instead of just a Super Bowl TV Spot we get an official teaser trailer through MovieClips Trailers YouTube channel:
I Kill Giants is an adaptation from Joe Kelly and J.M. Ken Nimura’s graphic novel. This is one that will appeal to many people, not just comic book fans. Alright for those of you that now me I love ABBA and so it shouldn’t be any surprise I loved Mamma Mia! when it came out. Just a fun movie with fun music. Now we have Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again that looks just as fun and with more ABBA singles. And with the perfect casting of Cher. Watch the trailer, if you haven’t already, and you’ll know what I mean. Marvel’s YouTube channel is giving us a sneak peek at the upcoming Cloak & Dagger series that will be on Freeform this June. The scene is basically the opening where the two leads discover their powers, which is different from the comic book origin. Cloak & Dagger is a strong story about drug use, overdose, and experimenting with new forms of drugs. Looks like the Freeform series might be taking a little bit different approach, especially if you are a fan of Cloak & Dagger and now how they received their powers in the comic books.
