One that Fits this Week Perfectly, Check out the Music Video for “A Ghost to Find’

kdt-pr logoSun Gods 1

Sun Gods to Gamma Rays gives us a single that has that other worldly feel just in time for the week of Halloween.  “A Ghost to Find” is one that harkens back to the psychedelic sound of the late 1960’s and early 1970’s.  This is one that won’t make you jump up and dance it is more of a melodic tune where you put it in after a long day and relax.  Check out Sun Gods to Gamma Rays music video for “A Ghost to Find” from their YouTube channel – Richard:

Maudlin Strangers Music Video for the Single “Overdose”

blackpandaPRmaudlin strangers

“Overdose” is the title track for Maudlin Strangers upcoming EP.  This group has a smooth sound to them.  The lead singer has a clear and strong voice that reaches over the instruments with little ease.  The band has the restraint not to overpower the lead singer even though they have some strong beats going on.  The song is very melodic and will almost hypnotize you with the flowing rhythm.  Check out the music video on the groups YouTube channel – Richard:

Little Daylight gives us “My Life” Music Video

blackpandaPRlittle daylight

Coming out of Brooklyn is the trio Little Daylight with their single “My Life”.  “My Life” has a catchy rhythm that is infectious to me.  The vocals are light and poppy, which isn’t a bad thing.  I enjoy songs that have a light feel to them and just make you want to move your body.  There is to much harshness in this world that it needs to be broken up with a little bit of fun.  Little Daylight has that electro/pop feel in this song, that brings the fun.  Hopefully, they will continue to have fun with their music, we all need that spot of sunlight.  Take a look at their music video for “My Life” from their YouTube channel and let your body get to moving with Little Daylight – Richard:

Morgan Shaughnessy’s Single “February Moon”

musemorgan shaughnessy

“February Moon” has a little bit of an other worldly feel.  Not quite psychedelic, but not far from it.  The opening itself is different from what you would normally hear in a song, but it kind of adds to the other worldly or dreamscape (high) feel of the song.  Check it out below through SoundCloud.  It won’t be for everyone, but you might enjoy it – Richard

The Well releases latest Music Video for “Separate Ways”

musewell

The Norwegian band The Well has released their music video for “Separate Ways”.  The Well has a great sound for me.  The vocals are nice and clear and the instrumentals have a great rhythm, with a nice bass drum beat to get your body moving with the music.  The single “Separate Ways” will be available on October 20.  Check out the music video below from The Well’s YouTube channel – Richard:

Cabana Kids release “Oh Lorelei”

The Cabana Kids have slowed it down for everyone with their latest release “Oh Lorelei”.  Remember to me they have that old beach music sound (think Beach Boys, Jan & Dean and such).  Not a bad sound, so take a listen through SoundCloud below – Richard:
