Torsha Lynn has a very nice voice. For “Supa Baddd”, her debut single, she gives us a R&B/Hip Hop feel. Torsha has a great R&B voice, but the beat for the single has the Hip Hop feel. The higher and lower voice that is sprinkled throughout the song I did not appreciate, but others might like. I think Torsha’s voice alone could carry the song and didn’t need the extra theatrics. Love to hear more from her to see what direction she will lean toward as a genre. Check out “Supa Baddd” through SoundCloud below – Richard:
Clemency Starting a Six Song/Music Video Venture
The dou Clemency is starting a venture that will span six songs and their related music videos entitled You’ve Got the Fire. The trailer for the experiment is below from their YouTube channel, but they have not yet released the first single/music video. Their website is http://www.clemencyonline.com/ so keep an eye on it and hopefully Margo will keep us informed about each release. It looks interesting.
Lady Low’s Latest “When I Do Wrong”
I don’t know why but this song just hit me just right. Like Lady Low’s previous single this single, “When I Do Wrong” isn’t one that will get you up moving. It is a slower song, but that is their intent. The lyrics and instruments are simple, but evocative. Give “When I Do Wrong” a listen through SoundCloud – Richard

Riot Police Release their Single “She Knows”
Riot Police is for individuals that like high pitched singers. When the lead started singing “She Knows” in his high register I felt a Maroon 5 influence. Even with the higher notes the vocalist is able to keep the lyrics clear and they keep the instrumentalist at a lower volume so not to interfere with the lead singer. Check out their video for “She Knows” from the bands YouTube Channel – Richard
Layne’s Latest Single “I’d Go To Space With You”
Debut Single “Whole Again” from Alec Chambers
Alec Chambers has a great sounding single on his hands. The rhythms are there, the hooks are there, and he has a nice clear voice. The only thing that might hold some back is his Tenor voice. I like his voice, but it will be compared to Justin Bieber’s voice and other boy band type voices. This isn’t to say his voice is bad, because it isn’t, he just needs to be prepared for that happening. Take a listen to Alec’s “Whole Again” through SoundCloud and see what you think – Richard
Upcoming Tour Dates:
December 6, 2014 | New York, NY @ Merkin Concert Hall supporting David Ippolito
January 5, 2015 | New York, NY @ The Bitter End
January 14, 2015 | New York, NY @ Rockwood Music Hall | 7:00PM
“Sky Stand Still” from Jes
Jes has had a good November, with her release of “Sky Stand Still”. The single is the theme of the documentary The Principle. The single has a nice drum march beat to it that brings out the rhythm for people to get into. The song isn’t a fast beat dancing song, but more of a power ballad song. Jes’ voice fits perfectly and has a really nice sound quality. Check it out through SoundCloud – Richard
