If you are a fan of dark and moody music Ultra Violet Rays’ debut will be for you. Their debut single is entitled “The Voyeur”. Classically trained violinist, Lindsey Stirling, likes to have fun with her music. She has done several covers that include Dragon Age, Legend of Zelda, Halo, Assassin’s Creed, and now Hatsune Miku’s “Senbonzakura” The music video she did for “Senbonzakura” is also very nice and artistic in nature. Below is the “Senbonzakura” music video along with her Dragon Age cover music video from Lindsey’s YouTube channel. Mike Louttit is the force behind the band Fractal Control. This band is unique in this day and age because the are an instrumental band. This is a daunting challenge in today’s market place. However, if you give Fractal Control a chance I think most of you will dig them. They are a rock band, you just have to be willing to experience their music and let your imagination take control. Cafeine gives us their next single “Electric”, from their New Love album. Just like caffeine, Cafeine shots your body full of energy. The ElectroPop feel is definitely present which reminds me of the bands back in the ’80’s – ’90’s. Check out “Electric” through SoundCloud to get your heartbeat up! – Richard
Little Daylight gives everyone their Twice as Nice Remix of their single “Be Long”. I really like their electropop feel that they have with this remix. It’s an unusual song that it’s rhythm is a little upbeat, but the lyrics as sung on a more melancholy feel. It’s and interesting mix. MIRK has given us a sneak peek of their upcoming album Run, which the single “Rocketship”. This is one that will get your head a bobbing. The rhythm of the single is very catchy. It sounds like they had fun while singing “Rocketship”. I believe most people will gravitate to this song because of the catchy rhythm and lyrics. Check it out through SoundCloud – Richard:
Lily Elise gives us her music video for her single “Suitcases”. Lily has one of those rich full voices that fits well with R&B. I would be interested in hearing her try other genres as well, but she definitely has it going with the R&B sound. Check out the “Suitcases” music video through her YouTube channel – Richard:
