Sara Deshew is sharing with ComicPop Library listeners her latest music video for her single “Roll Like a Wheel”. This single is kind of a mixed genre. It has a little bit of a country and folk feel and then in her chorus a tribal aspect comes into play. This is a well rounded song and very enjoyable to listen to. Zaza is hitting the HipHop world with her single “Fashion Girl”. Zaza’s rap is very crisp and clear for the listener to fully experience her voice. When the chorus comes in she delivers as well. Sometimes as with any genre of music singers can slur their words, but not with “Fashion Girl”. Like I said very crisp and clear. I also like that the rhythm is kept to a nice simple beat, you don’t always have to be extravagant to have a fun song that fans can sing along with. If you enjoy the Rap Genre you will enjoy this ode by Leondro, “Girl You The Ish”. It’s not an in your face single, but a more introspective one. Their is language within the song that some might object to, so this is your warning. “Girl You the Ish” has a slower pace that conveys what he is feeling well and when looked in the context of his art form it is done really well and I think most will enjoy it. Amy Raasch is sharing with the ComicPop LIbrary listeners “Cat Bird Coyote” from her upcoming multimedia platform Girls Get Cold. This will start you week with something fresh in this mash-up between an animated short and music venture. My interpretation of “Cat Bird Coyote” is the circle of life theme. This will catch some people off guard with the mixed medium, but for me, I enjoyed it tremendously because I enjoy both mediums and like it when storytelling are joined in a mash-up. I just love this picture of Elephant 12 and wanted everyone else to enjoy it. But that’s not all. Elephant 12 is sharing with us again an new single that they want everyone to check out, “There Goes My Ego”. With this single Elephant 12 is wanting everyone to know that they can slow it down as well as having their up tempo songs. I think many of us can relate to our “Ego” evaporating on us at some point or another. Wired Minds is sharing with the ComicPop Library listeners their music video for the single “Strange Kind of Love”. The video has a retro feel to it and the single itself does as well. Wired Minds’ comes to us from across the pond with their sound, which when I first heard their lyrics come in, really hit a strong 1980’s vibe and more specifically a David Bowie vibe. Lady Low is starting our run of Christmas music that our talented musicians share with us during the holiday’s. This one, in the Lady Low tradition, is a little sad as you can tell with the title of “Lonely Christmas”. However, this is a very good single that I think everyone will enjoy. Some will relate to the song specifically others might not, but it is one of those singles that just grabs you and won’t let go. Z is giving the ComicPop Library listeners another track from his upcoming EP. This single is entitled “For The Mad Ones” which is the title track of the EP. Z just has this vibe that I seem to identify with really easily. When I first heard him come in on this single I went straight to Hall & Oates, so that will kind of give you the style of this single and the tone of Z’s voice.
