blackpandaPRClassic kids

The Classic Kids is sharing with ComicPop Library listeners again.  This time they are giving us their music video for their new single “Drive”.  This is another fun song that everyone will get into and have fun with, especially for the fans of 1980’s – 90’s music.  They do a nice call back to that time, which I lived through so I really enjoyed this and their other singles.  Check it out the “Drive” music video through The Classic Kids YouTube channel – Richard:

Jessica Rotter Latest Single “Pray for Rain”

jessica

Jessica Rotter charted at #1 on Hype Machine with her single “Stay/Animal” with Emily Colombier.  With this accomplishment in her back pocket Jessica is moving forward with her latest single “Pray for Rain” that is the first release of her upcoming album Plains.  “Pray for Rain” has a Pop feel to it that has an enjoyable light beat that immediately grabs you.  Her voice has, what I would call, Alto range that comes through strong and clear and compliments the music well.  Jessica is sharing “Pray for Rain” with us through SoundCloud and most everyone will enjoy this single.  If this is an indication of what the album, Plains, will sound like keep an eye on the digital vendors begin on April 22 to pick it up – Richard:

Friday AKA Ricky Dred is sharing with our listeners again with his latest music video.  This time he is spotlighting his single “Highs/Lows” that give a glimpse into what street life can be like for some.  The beat is another hard driven beat that sets the tone and then Friday’s low register voice gives the single more weight.  Thanks again to Friday AKA Ricky Dred for sharing his music video for “Hights/Lows” from his YouTube channel – Richard:

Doran Danoff Shares “Young Love”

museDoran Danoff June 2011

Doran Danoff is sharing with the ComicPop listeners his single “Young Love”.  This has a great bluesy/rock feel to it that the listener can get into easily.  After listening to it a few times it reminded me of the style of something the Eagles would have put out back in the day.  I enjoyed “Young Love” and I think many of you will to.  Thanks again to Doran for sharing “Young Love” through SoundCloud – Richard:

OWL releases Their Music Video for “Witch’s Familiar”

city bird publicityowl

OWL is graciously sharing their new music video, for their single “Witch’s Familiar”.  The band is fronted by Chris Wyse, whom many will remember as the bassist for Ace Frehley and The Cult.  Chris is joined by Jason Achilles Mezilis on guitar and vocals and Dan Dinsmore on drums.  With “Witch’s Familiar” OWL gives the listener and viewer a darker experience that touches on Psychedelic.  The music video matches the tone of the single.  This one will make you pause to listen and if you are into the darker gothic type of music “Witch’s Familiar” will resonate with you.  Be sure to look for their EP Things You Can’t See from your favorite vendor.  Here’s OWL”s music video they are sharing with us from their YouTube channel, “Witch’s Familiar” – Richard:

givers and takers

The band Givers & Takers are sharing with the ComicPop listeners their latest single “Start the Morning”.  This single I can see being played or performed in a night club where people go to experience the music.  “Start the Morning” has a very R&B/Soul vibe to it that washes over the listener.  Well done and get ready to swoon with Givers & Takers, “Start the Morning” through SoundCloud – Richard:
