SD3 is coming at us with a sound straight out of the 1980’s. This group is a synth/pop band that wants listeners to have fun with their music. With the rhythm that they have established and clear vocals that have achieved this effect with their debut single “All That I Want”. Hagar Levy is sharing with us her single “Hectic” from her forthcoming album. “Hectic” begins right off with a strong base beat and sets the tone for the single with a solid R&B sound. That same base beat gives the single a sense of urgency that builds to the release in the chorus. Hagar has a nice clear voice that comes through nicely. The only time it gets a little overtaken by the instrumentals is during the chorus, but with this song I believe that might be intentional because she wants that Hectic sound with the instruments during the chorus to be the spotlight. Oblio is rockin’ it out of Long Beach and sharing their single “Days” with us. The band consists of Blake Russell, Alex Strahle, and Free Hallas and they have put together the album Autophobia, which “Days” is from. The album will be available in September. Diane Arkenstone is sharing her newest single “Touch the Sky” with all the ComicPop Library listeners. The single has a very earthy feel to it. THE DEDBTZ are sharing with the ComicPop Library listeners their debut single, “How Much I Need You”, from their forthcoming EP. The single features vocals by Brezy, who has shared with us her single “Riptide”. With “How Much I Need You”, the single starts out fairly simple and then at around a minute in the song shifts into a strong Bass beat and you know this is meant to be played in a club. Indigoe is sharing with the ComicPop listeners their single “Call in the Air”. “Call in the Air” is definitely a Electric/Pop single. You can tell that the instrumentals are the feature especially with the intro for the single.. Indigoe is planning on having different feature artists as the vocalist on their new releases and for this single the featured artist is Todd Hugenour. The style is has a very SciFi feel to it and the artwork above just adds to the vibe. A great intro for me to Indigoe and I can’t wait to hear what else they come out with.
