Alxxa is sharing with us her single “Nobody”. This single will be one that the club scene will enjoy. It has an electronic punch to the instrumentals, but Alxxa’s voice is really crisp and clear. I would love to hear her sing a more traditional single. I think that would really make her voice shine like it should. Definitely interested in what she will come up with next. Here’s Alxxa’s “Nobody” that you can enjoy through SoundCloud – Richard:
Down On Maddy’s Single “Titania”
Down on Maddy is the stage name of a new experimental/alternative rock artist. Today he is sharing with our listeners his single “Titania”. With this single you get several different rhythms with the song. This shifting can be a little jarring, but for those that like experimental rock will dig it. Down on Maddy to an interesting approach with his vocals for this single as well. With having the experimental feel with this single he also threw in lyrics that are drawn out to create a psychedelic sound. So fans of experimental rock enjoy Down on Maddy’s single “Titania” through SoundCloud – Richard:

For the thrill seekers that we have the soundtrack, that “The Workx” is from, is the documentary film Distance Between Dreams that is produced by Red Bull Media about one of the most historic surf season with Ian Walsh. Both the album and documentary are available from digital vendors and they look to make physical copies in the near future. Polar Waves Single “Stoner”
Polar Waves is hitting it out of the park with their first single, “Stoner”, from their upcoming album No One Needs Help Anymore. I think many of our listeners will enjoy this nice clean rock song. You have you hard beats coming at you with the slightly gruff vocals that come together and form what I think and should be the bands signature style. I’m eager to hear what else they will be giving us to enjoy. Here’s Polar Wave’s “Stoner” for everyone to rock to through SoundCloud – Richard:
Veio’s “Structures” Music Video
Veio gives our listeners a rock/metal single to check out with “Structures”. Veio has the metal sound down and I really enjoyed listening to this single. The lyrics where nice and clear and when the chorus hit it wasn’t to over the top, it was right were it needed to be. The music video is put together nicely, but I wish they would have done more of a story video, but that’s just my taste for music videos. Here’s Veio’s music video for “Structures” through their YouTube channel – Richard:
Sam Nicolosi’s Single “Caught Up”
Sam Nicolosi is sharing with our listeners his unique single “Caught Up”. The single starts out with a good Pop bass beat and then transitions into a little bit of experimental sounds and back to pop. This one and can dig part of it and other parts I have to wrap my head around. That might be what Sam is intending. Here’s Sam Nicolosi’s single “Caught Up” from his upcoming Origins EP – Richard:
Uruguay’s Debut Music Video for “Sabrina Segment”
Uruguay is sharing with our listeners their debut music video for “Sabrina Segment”. This single has a very soulful feel to it and with the drumbeat, along with the images of the music video, feels like a heart beat. There is no harshness to the single, but you feel a desperation within “Sabrina Segment”. The single and video deals with the harshness of life and how it can be very down trodden, but you can still find someone to help make it go a little easier. When you get to the end of the video you will understand what I mean, because I want to leave that for you to interpret on your own, because you could get a different message from it, which is all good. Here’s Uruguay’s music video for “Sabrina Segment” from their YouTube channel – Richard:
Common Deer’s Single “Confession (I Should Have Known)”
Common Deer gives our listeners a chance to hear their single “Confession (I Should Have Known)”, from their I EP. “Confession” lands comfortably in the folk genre. The single has a great rhythm that draws in the listener from the start. It isn’t overly fast, just a nice upbeat feel, even though the single isn’t technically upbeat in it’s lyrics. The drums give you that beat, but they are muted so that the other instruments can shine and it all blends together beautifully with the vocals. As everyone knows I enjoy the folk genre so you know I am interested in what Common Deer will come out with next. Their EP I is available now, so if you enjoy them as much as I do, search for them on your downloader of choice and help support them. Until then here is Common Deer’s “Confession (I Should Have Known)” through SoundCloud – Richard:
Gold Casio’s Single “Socialites and Singer Types”
Talk about a flashback. Gold Casio is sharing with us their disco inspired single “Socialites and Singer Types”. I couldn’t keep the smile off my face while listening to this. “Socialites and Singer Types” has all the hallmarks of a ’70” disco song, but it’s lyrics have modern day reflections. Even the groups name has that ’70’s reference with “Casio”…I mean come on, that’s just cool. Disco is all about having fun so take a moment and have some fun with Gold Casio’s “Socialites and Singer Types” through SoundCloud – Richard:
