Julia Carlucci’ Music Video for “Take Me Down”

Julia Carlucci is wanting our listeners to enjoy her music video for “Take Me Down”.  “Take Me Down” has a nice bass beat that fits well with Julia’s lower range/smokey voice.  It’s not a rough smokey voice, but a smooth smokey voice that one usually has that sings in a lower register.  Loved the brass during the bridge between the verses.  Then during the latter part of the single there is a clapping section that for me did a call back to Spiderbait’s “Black Betty” and how it was structured.  The music video it self is pretty much a straight up performance video, but it is really clean and I enjoyed how they went to the specific sections of the band when they were being spotlighted during the song.  Here’s Julia Carlucci’s music video for “Take Me Down” – Richard:

Shane Henry’s New Single “Save Me”

Shane Henry’s music might be familiar to some.  His music has been heard on many television networks including: NBC; CBS; Discovery Channel; Hallmark Channel; and E!  Today Shane is sharing with our listeners his latest single “Save Me”.  From the very beginning of “Save Me” you have that R&B/Rock sound.  But then the more you listen and catch Shane’s voice which draws out the lyrics my brain click and it went to Southern Rock.  With that electric guitar front and center, the driving bass beat and then the harmonica comes in on the bridges.  It’s a really nice sound that takes from each style, but doesn’t over power each other.  Here is Shane Henry’s “Save Me”, through SoundCloud, for you to enjoy to prepare for his upcoming album Light in the Dark releasing on April 28 – Richard:

Typhoid Rosie’s Music Video for “Baby I Want You”

Typhoid Rosie is keeping with their style of dark rock.  Just having Typhoid in the name you kind of now what you are in for.  They give you that driving rock sound in their single “Baby I Want You” that doesn’t necessarily say the single is dark, but when coupled with the music video it give you that dark vibe from the beginning and you get into a Dolores Claiborne type of kidnapping were the love is one sided and disturbing.  You can tell Typhoid Rosie had fun with this video, which allows the viewer to watch it with the dark humor respected.  Here’s Typhoid Rosie’s music video for “Baby I Want You” through Rosie Rebel’s YouTube channel – Richard:

Mick McMains Single “Singing to the Cow”

Mick McMains is sharing with our listeners his single “Singing to the Cow”.  This single hits right in that Folk/Country arena really well and how can it not be with the title “Singing to the Cow”.  The sounds are there, with Mick’s voice being strong and easy to listen to.  And just for extra measure they throw in some electric guitar.  So check out Mick McMains’ single through SoundCloud – Richard:

Solarrio “Hopeless” Music Video

Solarrio is letting our listeners check out his music video for his single “Hopeless”.  Solarrio keeps that Pop/Synth that he has established with his other singles, but with this one he slows it down a bit.  The single still has a great beat and you will be dancing to this one just like his others, but maybe just a little bit closer to your partner.  Here’s Solarrio’s music video for “Hopeless” through his YouTube channel and after watching it give him your support by downloading his album from your digital vendor of choice – Richard:

Janet Blair’s Single “Eternity Grows”

Janet Blair gives our listeners a chance to check out her single “Eternity Grows”.  With this single Janet falls what I would say is a Pop/Folk music style.  I enjoy how the piano is playing staccato for the verse.  For me when music is played that way it makes me want to get into the music and have fun.  When Janet hits the chorus the single takes on a fullness that has the listener taking off and soaring.  I’m interested in what else she has planned.  Have fun with Janet Blair’s “Eternity Grows” through SoundCloud – Richard:

“When Can I See You Again” AMV

Anime Nerd Productions YouTube channel a couple of years ago post an AMV were they took several anime scenes and spliced them for Owl City’s “When Can I See You Again”.  This is a fun song to go along with a well put together AMV.  So take a moment and enjoy Anime Nerd Production’s AMV “When Can I See You Again”:

Mischief Night’s Music Video for “With Me, Now”

Mischief Night is sharing with our listeners their music video for “With Me, Now”.  “With Me, Now” is playing to a more niche market which I believe Mischief Night realizes and are embracing with their music.  When I listen to “With Me, Now” I get this psychedelic/folk/bohemian mix and their music video for the single kind of captures that free artistic range as well with the purposefully rendered low end stop motion spliced with live footage of the band that almost feels like old 8mm film.  I enjoy that they are bringing in a variety of instruments, but with their softer voices they will need to watch out for their instrumentals overpowering them.  Check out Mischief Night’s music video for “With Me, Now” for something new that you might like through Marcus Kitchen’s YouTube channel- Richard:

Ryon’s World Latest Single “Grandmas Car”

Ryon’s World is sharing their island infused single “Grandmas Car”, featuring Stu Da Boi.  “Grandmas Car” is a fun little diddy, but be warned for those with sensitive ears, otherwise just have fun with this single and get your body grooving with the beat as you enjoy Spring Break.  Here’s Ryon’s World’s “Grandmas Car” through SoundCloud – Richard:
