This reminded me of the ’80’s or was it ’90’s sound (pretty sure it ’80’s) when the big thing was synthesizers. With the song “The Game is Changing Again” the band the Hands have grabbed hold of that feel and ran with it. If you were a fan of the music back then you will probably be a fan of this one. The fans have spoken. Warner Bros. that owns the Veronica Mars property made a deal with show creator Rob Thomas that if he could get a $2 Million backing off of KickStarter then a Veronica Mars movie could be made. The KickStarter was a success and has raised above the $2 Million dollar amount. Therefore, plans are in the works to start movie production this summer and be ready for airing in 2014. This shows that with KickStarter fans have another outlet to keep a series alive other than a writing campaign to the studios.
More TCG news. New cards in the Pokemon Universe will be released on May 18. The set is Pokemon: Black and White – Plasma Freeze and will be a 110 card set that will include EX Cards, ACE SPEC Cards, Trainer Cards and others.
The Pokemon Company confirmed that the limited edition Pikachu Nintendo 3DS XL (pictured above) will be available in the North American market March 24. It will have a 4GB SD memory card and will have a suggested retail price of $199.99.
iTunes has added Hatsune Miku’s “Tell Your World” to their catalog and will be able to download on March 20, from the vocaloid’s album Re:Dial. The original song was wrote, scored, and arranged by composer kz. So if your fans of Hatsune remember to download the song, by marking your calendar.
XSEED Games began streaming it’s U.S. trailer for Pandora’s Tower on it’s YouTube Channel. Pandora’s Tower is an RPG for the Nintendo Wii and is scheduled for a spring release. Check out the trailer below:
Rachel Sage just has one of those voices that appeals to me. I have loved her music since I first heard her. Thanks to The MuseBox for alerting us of her most recent video for “Invisible Light” (linked below). The video is fairly simple which suits the song. My favorite parts of the video are the close ups of Rachel and her hands playing the piano. Her upcoming schedule is below so go out and see her when she is in your area.

Here is an interesting remix that Ginger and the Ghost did with TA-KU on “One Type of Dark”. Ginger and the Ghost like to experiment with their music and they definitely did with this remix. Parts of it I love and other parts I just went “interesting”. April says she likes it all, much better than the original. So there you have it. Thanks to Wild Honey Pie for alerting everyone to CHVRCHES new music video “Recover” on YouTube. It has a great Science Fiction flare to it and has an, what looks to me, update HAL in the video for 2001: A Space Odyssey. This single uses the Synthesizer as its main instrument which fits well with the video. They must have taken that into consideration when developing the music video.
