Volcano Choir has released “Byegone” for their latest track. I enjoyed the song, which is not an upbeat fast song, it is more laid back. However, this is one where I wish they would have just done it as an instrumental. The lyrics are great, but I love the instrumental portion of this song and wish they would have left it a pure instrumental song. Thanks to Wild Honey Pie for the track below so you can listen to “Byegone” and be sure to check them out for more indie music news http://www.thewildhoneypie.com/

MiniPop Ep. 1: April’s on the Radio!
MiniPop Ep. 1: April’s on the Radio!
Welcome to the first episode of what we are going to call MiniPop’s. Minipops are going to be shorter recordings about stories that take place between our regular recordings or short reviews that we don’t have time for during the regular show.
For our first MiniPop April was invited to join Bruce Enrietto, as a Co-Host, of his “Bruce in the Morning Show” on Q97 Continuous Country, in Garden City, Kansas. Bruce was kind enough to record segments of the show so April could share them with ComicPop’s audience. So thank you to Bruce and !97 and if you are in the Garden City, Kansas area be sure to listen to Q97 Continuous Country and Bruce in the Morning. Click on the link below to listen to the show, find it on our website, www.comicpoplibrary.com, or wait until later today and it will be up on our iTunes feed.
Thank to everyone out there for your continued support and remember you can always e-mail us with your questions, comments or recommendations at admin@comicpoplibrary.com.

Mike and Lindsie’s Walk Across America
On June 15, Michelle, Logan and I had the pleasure of hosting Mike and Lindsie Billeter for the evening. Then Michelle got up early the next morning, after Mike and Lindsie spent the stormy night in our guest bedroom, and saw them off. The couple are currently doing a faith based walk across America. During the evening, to Lindsie’s chagrin, Mike and I talked about comic books, movies based on comic books and the collecting of comic books. He got to see first hand the size of my collection, while Lindsie got to see what a collection can develop into over a period of time. It was a fun and pleasant evening and I wish them well on their journey and I hope the guest bed was comfortable. If you want to keep track of their progress, support their walk or make a comment their blog is Storming Jericho at http://stormingjericho.com/.
