The ComicPop Crew is still at the 2013 Kansas Library Conference.  During this part Rob Banks the Kansas Library Association’s liaison to the America Library Association, is still with us and then we are joined by C. Michael Hall, Comic Book Creator, Writer, Artist and also a fellow Kansas librarian, Jo Budler, the State Librarian for Kansas, and Sue Blechl, the past President of the Friends of Kansas Libraries.

BETS’s sound encapsulates elements of musicians such as Lay Low, Feist, El Perro del Mar and Saint Vincent.  BETS worked with Espinoza and Murray who helped her produce the album.  Recording took place at The Ship studios in Eagle Rock, a haven of everything nautical, where Betsy feels “right at home” despite having no association to the sea!

Sour’s Latest Music Video

If you are a fan of interesting and unique music videos Sour’s latest is right up your alley.  For the music video of “Life is Music” the band did an animated video.  You say that’s no big deal and you would normally be right.  In this video Sour uses 189 CD’s that the animation was put on and then spun to create the animated look.  It’s pretty neat check it out for “SPACE SHOWER MUSIC” on YouTube:

Digimon is Back

For all you Card Gamers out there, Bandai is trying again with Digimon as a CCG.  The card game is called Digimon Fusion and is planned for a January release date.  It is based along the lines of the current show on Nickelodeon.  There will be two theme packs (Red and Blue), which will contain 40 cards and have a suggested retail price of $9.99.  There will also be a 60 card set that will be sold in Booster Packs with a suggested price of $3.50.  So here you go collectors more cards for you and you Digimon fans enjoy!
