We are just having fun reviewing and discussing comic books, graphic novels, manga, anime/animation, music and movies that we have recently read, listened to or watched.
Well we get to try making a Godzilla movie again. Basically they are ignoring the first Hollywood try at making a Godzilla movie and just doing a new one with a different take. Still it’s Godzilla, if Logan and I don’t see it in the theater we will definitely see it when it hits DVD/Blu-ray. Thanks to the “MOVIECLIPS Trailers” channel for providing the following trailer:

Here is the next Appleseed title to add to your anime collection. Appleseed Alpha is the latest CG animated film for the title that Masamune Shirow created. This movie tells the story of the early days of Deunan and Briareos and is scheduled to be released July 22. Thanks to the “IGN” channel for sharing the trailer on YouTube:
I always enjoyed Hellblazer and I even liked the Constantine feature film enough to watch it a few times. However, this new television series looks to be the best interpretation for Constantine. They actually got an appropriate actor to play the part and the trailer looks impressive. Check it out below thanks to the “NBCConstantine” channel on YouTube:
Axe has teamed up with the release of X-Men:Days of Future Past for a marketing promo. It’s not quite as cool as some of the marketing promos in Japan, but they are trying. Inside the X-Men themed package you get an exclusive poster from the movie. The set will put you back about $10.00.

Scarlett, the songwriter known for her “haunting riffs and empowering words” (Marie Claire), will receive maximum exposure this week, as mtvU reaches nearly 9 million U.S. college students. It is the largest, most comprehensive television network just for college students. Scarlett, forbidden as a child from participating in popular culture, but now with well over one million Facebook fans, has earned comparisons to Florence and the Machine and Feist. “Battle Cry” is the first single off Scarlett’s new record, Scarlett, which is available in her online store.

Thanks to AnimeNews Network for this information. The Animation and Illustration students of San Jose State University created art by using their favorite Nintendo games as inspiration. The assignment is finished and they have elected to offer their pieces in an online auction. The proceeds that are raised from the auction will be donated to the Morgan Autism Center. This is one I will definitely keep my eye on to see if I can win a piece, for as you know Logan, one of our Co-Hosts, has a form of Autism, which is Asperger’s.
