Young Rising Sons are “Coming Home”

Young Rising Sons is sharing their latest “Coming Home” music video with us. This is a case of I enjoy the single, but the music video didn’t really work for me. Others might watch the music video and enjoy it. The single itself, “Coming Home’, I really like. It has a nice beat and the vocals come in with confidence. It’s not an upbeat song per say but it isn’t slow either. It’s one you can just groove to and sing along with. The music video is a different animal. It opens up with a feeling of the movie The Purge and then it just shows a windshield as a car is driving down the road. You think it’s a lyric video, but fooled you it’s not. The text that comes on the screen is a different message from the song so it is a little distracting, but like I said above others will like it. Antigone Rising is a “Game Changer”

In the tradition of The Go-Go’s and The Bangles comes Antigone Rising, with their single “Game Changer”. I love it…it’s an upbeat song that I always enjoy. Antigone Rising has that rock feel, but listening to “Game Changer” I definitely hear a country sound in this single as well. This would be a great cross-over song for them. Giselle Mynx has “Sprung Free”

“Sprung Free” comes in strong with a heave base beat. After the opening verse the single changes rhythm, it has a fun almost drumline beat in the transitions. Then the single picks up speed again with Giselle’s lyrics. Her voice reminds me a little of Juice Newton. You can also tell that Giselle had fun with this single. X-Wing Force Awakens Gaming Core Set

Fantasy Flight Games was able to officially announce that it is releasing a Star Wars: X-Wing – The Force Awakens core gaming set. The slated release date is for September 16, just right around the corner. The set will include one T-70 X-Wing and two TIE/fo Fighters. This set will also be able to be used with existing expansions and rules for squad building of the Star Wars: X-Wing game. So keep an eye out in your gaming stores.

Dioni gives another strong performance with her single “Flirting with Reality”. The lyrics are of a serious nature, but the beat of the song makes it feel light in tone. The single definitely has that European flare to its styling, which is why I like this new single. TMNT get HeroClixed

Wizkids is getting “Rad” with their upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles HeroClix‘. The TMNT HeroClix will be a have a verity of Turtle versions. As you can tell from the picture above that one version is of the Original Comic Book plus other comic book, classic animation, and CG animated versions. There will be four products gamers and collectors can purchase: Mouser Mayhem Starter Set; TMNT Fast Forces Packs; individual Foil Packs; and TMNT Dice and Token Packs. WizKids has only stated that the TMNT HeroClix will be released in February 2016.
