Rosie Carney is sharing with us her music video for the single “Winter”. We’ve featured Rosie and we want to thank her for contacting ComicPop Library again. “Winter” is what I would call a Folk Ballad. It has a slower pace to it that leads you down a wooded path as the music video portrays. With this video the first 14 seconds are silent so don’t hit the pause button the song begins 15 seconds in. The ComicPop Crew enjoyed Sekai no Owari so much that we are going to occasionally spotlight their music video and want to encourage our listeners to support them. We already spotlighted “Mr. Heartache” and did a podcast for their four English songs so we are going to finish spotlighting their English songs and then go into their other singles. The Dumplings are sharing their music video, for their single “Technicolor Yawn”, with the ComicPop Library listeners. This is a duo coming out of Poland that has a great techno pop-electonica sound to them. The single has a fun catchy beat to go along with the lyrics. The Dumplings even took that fun atmosphere into their music video for the single by making it a 1970’s style unique video. I really enjoyed “Technicolor Yawn” and look forward to hearing more from them. Check out this very cool Lego set that was mentioned on Yahoo’s site. Pun definitely intended since Lego set is for the Star Wars: Assault on Hoth playset, from Empire Strikes Back. This set has 2,144 pieces and will set you back $250 suggested retail price. Of course if you are a Lego fan price sometimes isn’t an obstacle. The set is has a schedule shelf date of May 1, so if price is something you have to consider, start saving now.
Cease Tone is sharing with the ComicPop gang their latest single “Sight of Your Life”. The song starts out like a nice simple folk song and then the bridge into the second verse swells and continues swelling though the rest of the single. Cease Tone will be at SXSW so if you are one of the fortunate that gets to attend you might check out their session. They will also be at a few other venues before SXSW and after. Sakura no Ame is set to open on March 5 in Japan. It was inspired by vocaloid composer halyosy’s song of the same name. Hopefully this is one that a distributor will pick up for a Blu-ray release for the North American region. Thanks to the movies YouTube channel for the trailer:
RYNO is sharing his multilingual lyric music video with the ComicPop listeners, for his single “Stars in the Sky”. RYNO has a nice clean sound and “Stars in the Sky” is an enjoyable upbeat single that will have you singing with him before the song is through.
