I know I had a post about this a while back, but AMC has given the release date for the new Preacher series based on the comic book series by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon. It will premiere May 22 right after Fear the Walking Dead. So mark your calendars for a different kind of ride. Here is the trailer that AMC is sharing on their YouTube channel with everyone for a reminder of what the show will be like. I for one can’t wait!:

CeaseTone Looks to “The Bright Side”
CeaseTone is making their US debut at SXSW. This Icelandic duo is sharing with our listeners their single “The Bright Side” music video. Even though the single is title “The Bright Side” the single has a darker tone to it. When listening to it I really felt a Gothic dark resonance from “The Bright Side”. The music video is one I enjoy because of the stop motion animation, but with others it will just depend on what you like. Check out CeaseTone’s “The Bright Side” from their YouTube channel and if you are at SXSW check the schedule to see when their session is to stop in and listen to them live – Richard:
Ep 41 ComicPop Visits with Rhonda Rees about Book Piracy, Pt 1
Ep 41 ComicPop Visits with Rhonda Rees about Book Piracy
The ComicPop Crew had the pleasure of visiting with Rhonda Rees on a topic she has had personal experience with, in part 1 of our interview. Rhonda is the author of Profit and Prosper with Public Relations: Insider Secrets to Make You a Success, which was pirated. With her recent accolades: Publicist of the Year from the Book Publicists of Southern California; an IRWIN Award (Industry Recognition of Writers in the News); and most recently Rhonda has been the recipient of the Publicist of the Year Award from the Bulldog Reporter, she has set about to educate the industry on the real threat of book piracy that exists not only for the big press, but for the small press as well.
Many thanks to Rhonda for taking the time from her busy schedule to visit with ComicPop Library we had a fun time. Stay tuned for the second part that will forth coming.

Captain America’s Second Trailer
You knew as soon as I saw this trailer it was going up here. It’s nice to see Spidey and I hope all of the companies will work out some type of deal to get the Marvel Universe back together would be cool to have the mutants in there as well. Which they kind of did with Deadpool, because at the end of the movie for the final battle, unless my eyes deceive, they fight on a downed Helicarrier. Anyway, enjoy the second trailer for Captain America: Civil War that Marvel is streaming on their YouTube channel:

Yu-Gi-Oh is Back in Theaters!
Well at least Yu-Gi-Oh is back in theaters in Japan. The official website for the new movie has begun streaming the trailer for Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions. You know that this will make its way to the North American market at some point. It might be released in theaters or not, but I’m positive it will get a Blu-ray/DVD release. Thanks to maidigtv’s YouTube channel for the following trailer:
The Classic Kids Release Music Video for “Drive”
The Classic Kids is sharing with ComicPop Library listeners again. This time they are giving us their music video for their new single “Drive”. This is another fun song that everyone will get into and have fun with, especially for the fans of 1980’s – 90’s music. They do a nice call back to that time, which I lived through so I really enjoyed this and their other singles. Check it out the “Drive” music video through The Classic Kids YouTube channel – Richard:
Ghostbusters Trailer
Sony has finally released the first Ghostbusters trailer. I’m still not to crazy about the strip in the uniform, but all in all it looks pretty good. I enjoyed the Ghostbusters in the past and it looks like I’ll enjoy this one as well. Thanks to The Ellen Show’s YouTube channel for sharing this after they premiered it during her show:
