We are just having fun reviewing and discussing comic books, graphic novels, manga, anime/animation, music and movies that we have recently read, listened to or watched.
Antix gives us the softer side of Rap. I really enjoyed this single and music video of “Come Home”. The single had a good beat and the vocals are nice and crisp. The video is the style I like were you get a little bit of a short film interspersed with Antix sprinkled in. It seemed heart felt dealing with struggles that some families go through. Scotland and Hip Hop, not something you would say usually in the same statement. But here it is with Hector Bizerk. Hector Bizerk is a band formed by Audrey Tait, drummer and producer, and Louie, who was the Scottish battle rap champ. We have the music video from the bands YouTube channel. This is one that will appeal to a certain market, but give it a listen, I’m always surprised at some of the music that I enjoy. Panda Elliot releases Alex Patri’s remix of the single “Guerrero”, along with a lyric music video. “Guerrero” has a good upbeat feeling to it and Elliot’s voice is nice a clear. Panda Elliot is from Argentina so I was unable to understand the lyrics, but as everyone knows from the podcasts this doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the music. The lyric video was shot in reverse negetive, so that makes it a little more interesting to watch. Give it a listen through Vimeo, I think you will like it – Richard:

I know in some parts of the country people don’t want to hear about snow. However, this is “Snow” the single from BWANi, which I believe most people will enjoy. “Snow” is a very clean and easy listening song that has a nice relaxing feel to it. The video featured below is a lyric video, but even so with the falling snow is nice and relaxing to watch as well. Great job BWANi and can’t wait to hear more from you. Check out the Alex Pop Project’s music video for “Wanna Be Your Man”. The Alex Pop Project is the inspiration of Alexander Ross-Iver. In this single he has Les McKeown, of the Bay City Rollers, join him. The song itself has an old school feel to it which I like, but the video was a little hard to watch with the flashing sequences.
