We are just having fun reviewing and discussing comic books, graphic novels, manga, anime/animation, music and movies that we have recently read, listened to or watched.
Library Wars by Hiro Arikawa has had several incarnations which I hope the North American market will eventually get. But below is a live action short for Library Wars that Angle Pictures is sharing on their YouTube channel. It is entitled “Toshokan Mini Senso – The First Mission”. It is being shared in preparation of Angle Pictures release of “Toshokan Senso: Book of Memories” special that airs on October 5 in Japan. The Pokemon Company is developing a Pokemon App with Nintendo GAME FREAK called Pokemon GO as part of Pokemon’s 20th Anniversary in 2016. The game will also have a Pokeman GO Plus wrist device that will notify you of activity in the game for if a Pokemon is in your area, but the device will not be a necessity to play the game. The device is pictured above and check out the cool commercial that is available through the Official Pokemon Channel on YouTube. I know Logan, Luis, and Jonathon, Co-Hosts of our podcasts, are going to love this:
The latest Gundam title is Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans and is already showing in Japan. With other Gundam properties coming to North America hopefully this one will arrive eventually as well. Check out the short TV add that is airing for the show in Japan:
If you like your manga and comics in the digital format here is good news for you. Kodansha Comics has made a deal with Comixology to distribute 350 titles on their digital platform, to include titles such as Attack on Titan and Fairy Tail. Enjoy all that reading!
Toei Animation US has begun streaming the English dubbed trailer for World Trigger. Currently you can catch episodes on Hulu and Crunchyroll. You would think that since the company went to the expense of doing an English dub that the anime will eventually make its way to DVD or Blu-ray:
Moviewalkerkmtg’s YouTube channel has begun streaming the teaser trailer for the upcoming live action Terraformars film. This film is based on the manga by Yu Sasuga and Kenichi Tachibana. If the movie is anything like the manga it will be a very violent film. Check out the teaser here:
One more Pokemon movie to catch for you collection. Pokemon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages will be debuting in Japan on July 18. Then you can be sure it will be made available to the North American market. Check out the trailer from the movies YouTube channel:
The live action Attack on Titan film gets a subbed trailer. This looks pretty good check out the trailer through the Madman YouTube channel:
Yet another anime movie to share with you. This one will definitely get a North American release at some point. Anyway the Naruto franchise has a new movie entitled Boruto-Naruto The Movie. Check out the official website’s trailer through their YouTube channel:
