Nozart Releases Story Driven Single “Orphanage”

Nozart is back and this time they are sharing with our listeners their single “Orphanage”.  For fans of songs that are story based, which Logan and I are,  “Orphanage” is made for you.  The opening to this single itself feels like you are opening a book and getting ready to read a story.  The simple rhythm and instruments give this single a fairy tale aspect.  The vocals come through nice and clear and add to the story quality.  It is a slower song, but the quality overcomes that.  We are choosing to show the music video for “Orphanage” from Nozart’s YouTube channel.  One because it is an animated video and we love animation here and two the animation for the music video makes it feel like you are reading a Neil Gaiman story made by Tim Burton.  Props to Noah Kellman on a finely done song and music video.  Here’s Nozart’s “Orphanage” music video – Richard:

Emma Charleston’s Latest Single “Enjoy the Ride”

Emma Charleston is back again sharing her latest release “Enjoy the Ride” from her Enjoy the Ride EP.  With this single Emma slows the pace down with a piano intro and then builds to a crescendo and then back to a slower pace to begin the next verse.  This piece is a contemplative single that reminds everyone to “Enjoy the Ride”.  This single has the mix of pop/folk that works well for Emma that many will enjoy.  Here’s Emma Charleston’s “Enjoy the Ride” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Farrah Mechael’s Single “Be Here”

Farrah Mechael is sharing with our listeners her latest single “Be Here”, from her Farrah Please EP.  “Be Here” sets squarely in the pop arena and with some of the choices of music style, with the instrumentals, it has an international feel.  This international feel fits well since the lyrics mention ‘traveling around the world’.  The single asks if someone’s significant other will be there if paths one takes has them traveling.  You would think this would be a slow single, however the instrumentals and Farrah’s vocals give it that popping vibe.  Here’s Farrah Mechael’s “Be Here” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Seven Deadly Sins Trailer

If you enjoyed Fairy Tail you will see the similar animation style here in Seven Deadly Sins.  Looks to be another lighthearted fantasy romp from FUNimation.  Part one of season one is currently available if you like to get an early start on the series.  Usually I try to wait to see if they combine parts one and two into a single package.  I know you have to wait longer for it, but it just looks nicer on the shelf.  Anyway Seven Deadly Sins looks like a fun one to consider for your anime collections.  Here’s the trailer from FUNimation’s YouTube channel:

Marcus Paul James Delivers with “Living in Dreams”

Rhythm and Blues listeners rejoice!  You have a new single that delivers a strong entry into the genre in Marcus Paul James’ “Living in Dreams”.  The single is from his EP Paper Hearts and if the rest of the EP is like this single it will be a beautiful addition to your music collections.  Marcus has that powerful lower range voice that resonates through the whole single.  The instrumentals with the single lend a heaviness to the single that takes the listener on a complete journey.  Take some time and enjoy Marcus Paul James’ “Living in Dreams” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Star Trek Discovery Trailer

For all our Star Trek fans and science fiction fans in general here’s the latest trailer for Star Trek Discovery.  CBS All Access falls in the same category as the Netflix series that Marvel has on that platform.  We, as a family, have chosen not to do the multi-platforms and just hope they shows will eventually hit Blu-ray/DVD.  But for all of you that get to watch it when it hits have fun.  Thanks to the Star Trek YouTube channel for the following trailer:
