New Style of HeroClix
WizKids has introduced a new dynamic to their HeroClix brand. Starting with the Batman: Gotham City Strategy Game will have interchangeable dials. Two sets will come with the game and the players get to choose which dial they want to play the game with. Then in Spring of 2013, Teen Titans HeroClix will be released with the SwitchClix dials and then in the Summer of 2013 the Wolverine and the X-Men will be released with the same game features. This will probably be the standard from this point on, if I was guessing. Thanks to ICv2 for the information.

Is This a Halloween Treat or Trick?
This is a strange one. If true it will have the Star Wars fan community in a buzz. Yahoo has an article from the Associated Press, by Ryan Nakashima, that says George Lucas has sold his film companies to Disney to include the Indiana Jones and Star Wars franchises. The sell is reported to be for $4.05 billion. I’m not sure if this excites me or not. With Disney’s track record with Science Fiction movies I don’t know. Update: I guess this is a done deal. I’m excited about this and hesitant as well. My feelings lean more to the excited part of it with Episode 7 in theaters in 2015.

This weeks AMV Spotlight comes from YouTuber “HeardYouLikeAmvs2” again. This is an upload of “JudgeHolden”s AMV for the song “Disco Heaven” performed by Lady Gaga. This individual uses a variety of Anime to edit this AMV together. The blending is great and several of the lyrics match up with lip syncing or the actions that are taking place in the AMV.
