Wild Cards/Lone Ranger & Tonto

To give your patrons a different taste from just superhero fair Dynamite Entertainment is releasing George R.R. Hello Kitty Cosmetics coming to U.S.

Funimation Sues Over Downloads

ICv2 is reporting that Funimation is suing over a 1,000 people for downloading One Piece # 481 for BitTorrent sites.  So if any of your patrons are talking about this type of activity your might give them a warning and lead them to this article, which is linked below.  They might think it’s cool, but it could lead them into some serious trouble.

Maryland Japanese Hip-Hop Fans

The Bobby McKeys Night Club in National Harbor Maryland is hosting a musical tribute to the works of Jun Nujabes Seba, a JHip-Hop producer.  Advance tickets are $15.  Tickets at the door will be $20.  So libraries in that area might want to let their patrons that enjoy manga and anime know about this event.  For the full article follow the link to Anime News Network.
